Guwhati, December 6: Sehwag International School (SIS), India’s only educational institution being run by a cricketer of international fame will showcase its world-class facilities at the Guwahati leg of the Asia’s largest and oldest exhibition on school admissions.
Sehwag International School (SIS) from Virender Sehwag’s native Haryana will demonstrate its international learning experience before families of potential candidates at the Premier Schools Exhibition being held at TRP Indoor Stadium (Nehru Stadium Complex) at Dr. B. Barooah Road in Guwahati on December 7 and 8.
“To me, like to you, this is an exciting stride forward,” Sehwag said about the participation of his 2011-founded school based in Jhajjar, just off Gurgaon in the National Capital Region.
Currently into its third academic year, the co-education institution with 400-plus students at its sprawling multi-activity campus is the realisation of an ideal situation Sehwag wanted to live during his evolving years.
“Being a sportsperson, I have realized the true value of lessons learnt outside the bounds of a classroom. At SIS, we go beyond and ensure that our students get the best of indoor and outdoor training, moulding them to think critically, synthesize knowledge and reflect on their own thought processes,” he said.
